After news that Shatter, one of the most downloaded PSN games on the PS3, was making its way back to PlayStation via a ResetEra thread, it’s nice to know it’ll officially be released later this year.
Shattered Remastered Deluxe is an optimized version of the critically acclaimed brick-breaking game from New Zealand based developer and publisher PikPok. This updated release runs natively at 4K with support for 120fps, a completely remixed soundtrack and some slight gameplay tweaks.
Mario Wynands, CEO, PikPok said:
“When we launched the original Shatter in 2009, we were blown away by the critical acclaim and success, and the industry recognition and awards were confirmation we had succeeded in our goal of reinventing the brick-breaking genre. As a recognized ‘modern retro’ classic, we are excited to now bring Shatter Remastered Deluxe to a contemporary audience taking advantage of all the capabilities of the consoles of today, including stunning 4k resolution, enhanced FX, and a 5.1 surround sound remastered soundtrack.”
Shatter Remastered Deluxe will release later in 2022 on PlayStation 4|5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC.
