The sixth V/H/S film may have only just been released, but streaming service Shudder has announced today at their New York Comic Con panel that a seventh entry is already in the works.

We’re going to space, it seems, with Shudder promising that next year’s V/H/S anthology film will “feature five new bloodcurdling tapes, placing horror at the forefront of a sci-fi-inspired hellscape.” It is not the first time the series has taken a sci-fi route, with the most famous being in V/H/S/2 with Jason Eisener’s short, which he later turned into the featured Kids vs. Aliens.

What directors would you hope to see involved if sci-fi horror is going to be the main theme for the 2024 V/H/S entry? Let me know in the comment section below.
