Snap Wexley Is Back For Star Wars Episode 9

Deadline has exclusively revealed that Greg Grunberg who plays Snap Wexley in The Force Awakens will be returning for Star Wars: Episode 9.
Although it’s not confirmed that Grunberg will be playing Snap in Episode 9, it’s hard to see him not returning for the role. Snap Wexley has become a huge character in Star Wars Extended Universe material including the books and comics.
Snap wasn’t seen in The Last Jedi and although many assumed he died in the battle above D’Qar, it was later revealed that General Organa had sent Snap and others on a mission to gather up surviving New Republic members.
A selection of surviving Resistance Fighters and New Republic members would be a happy sight for the crew of the Falcon to meet up with coming out of the The Last Jedi having lost so much.
