PlayStation and Sony Pictures released a sneak peek at the upcoming Gran Turismo movie during CES 2023 earlier this month. The sneak peek doesn’t show much from the movie itself, but given that they chose to show something off while still in production, it is a sign that they are happy with how the film is progressing so far. 

The film is based on the true story of Jann Mardenborough, a teenage who loved playing the Gran Turismo games and who used the skills he learnt through the games to win a series of racing competitions before eventually becoming a professional racecar driver. 

Gran Turismo stars David Harbour, Orlando Bloom, Archie Madekwe, Darren Barnet, Geri Halliwell Horner and Djimon Hounsou. Neil Blomkamp (Chappy) is directing the film, which is set to release on August 10th, 2023, in theatres.
