Sony is investing more into China’s expanding video game development scene and rebooting the China Hero Project, which saw the likes of F.I.S.T: Forged in Shadow Torch come out of its first wave.

According to an article from Reuters, Sony plans to invest 1 million yuan ($140,080 USD) into each game. The news was shared at an event overnight, revealing the re-launch of the China Hero Project programme.

During the same event, Bao Bo, Sony’s Director of China Game Production, said that Lost Soul Aside and Convallaria, two games revealed from the previous wave of the China Hero Project, would be published by Sony. This is the first time any of the (so far seven) games to come out of the China Hero Project has been published by Sony themselves.

Lost Soul Aside is an action role-playing video game developed by Ultizero Games which has seen a lot of positive buzz over the last few years and is the most anticipated of the two games here.
