All the new details from the Splatoon Raiders direct

Nintendo shared its biggest look yet at Splatoon Raiders during a Nintendo Direct Showcase dedicated to the game this morning. It revealed new gameplay, co-op gameplay and a progression system.

Nintendo revealed that Splatoon Raiders will feature more than 100 weapons, three upgradeable tank classes, some deep gadget customisation and online co-op for up to four players.

The Direct also showed off the game’s varied environments, from Salmonid strongholds and crystal mines to underground facilities packed with puzzles and hidden secrets.

Alongside the gameplay reveal, Nintendo announced that ‘Deep Cut’s Island Misadventures’, a daily prequel comic, is now available through the Nintendo Today! app. And a Splatoon Raiders-themed ‘Splatfest’ will also take place in Splatoon 3 from July 11–13. Plus, there are Deep Cut-inspired Joy-Con 2 controllers also on the way.

Splatoon Raiders will release on July 23 for Nintendo Switch 2.
