Splatterbot is a new Australian game about fast-paced Roomba-inspired action

Splatterbot is a new game from Newcastle-based Hey! Kookaburra Studio, and it will be released for PC and Nintendo Switch later in 2025.

The game is a fast-paced, four-player arena-based painting game in which you paint the levels and splatter your opponents. It features power-ups, cute art, and dynamically changing levels.

“It feels so surreal to be launching a game on Nintendo Switch,” shared solo developer Nathan Moore. “Growing up, I always loved playing Nintendo party games with my family and friends, so to be able to take my Switch to a party and dock it to play my own game is a dream come true. I hope others will be able to feel the same joy I have felt over the years.” 

Splatterbot will be releasing on PC and Nintendo Switch in Q3 2025.
