Stan has revealed that its newest Australian drama series, The F Ward, will premiere on July 17, with all six episodes launching at once.

From the team behind the hit Stan Original Bump, The F Ward follows a group of medical interns who are sent to the underfunded Pines Hospital in Sydney for one final chance to complete their training. As they navigate life-and-death decisions, they must also confront their own insecurities, troubled pasts, and the expectations placed upon them.

The series stars Emmy Award winner Anna Friel (Pushing Daisies, Marcella) alongside Ioane Sa’ula (Bump), Lola Bond (Last Days of the Space Age), Dan Wyllie (Love My Way), Alex Fitzalan (Prosper), Emily Barclay (Babyteeth), Annie Boyle (Colin from Accounts) and Rishab Kern.

Supporting cast members include Arka Das (Sunny Nights), Paula Arundell (The Last Anniversary), Jeremy Sims (The Artful Dodger), Susie Porter (The Artful Dodger), Toby Schmitz (Boy Swallows Universe) and Alex Dimitriades (Strife).

The F Ward is co-created by Dan Edwards and Kelsey Munro, who previously worked together on Bump.
