Stan has released the trailer for Christmas Ransom, a brand new Stan Original film from the creators of A Sunburn Christmas.
Matt Okine (The Other Guy) stars as the owner of a struggling toy store. On Christmas Eve, his toy store is held ransom by two bumbling crooks, all the while, a pair of kids have snuck in to shoplift. So he must team up with them and a heavily pregnant police officer, played by Miranda Tapsell (The Sapphires).
Check out the trailer for Christmas Ransom below.
Christmas Random is written by the team behind A Sunburn Christmas, Elliot Vella, Gretel Vella and Timothy Walker, and Adele Vuko directs the film as her feature debut.
The film looks to have been inspired by Home Alone and Die Hard, with a little bit of Aussie flair and seems to be a fun December flick. You can watch it very soon, too, as it debuts on Stan on December 1st.
