2K announced the launch date for the final DLC for Marvel’s Midnight Suns this morning but paired it with the announcement that the game’s release on Nintendo Switch has been cancelled.
On the positive side, the game’s PS4 and Xbox One versions will finally release on May 11th, which will coincide with the release of the fourth and final DLC, titled ‘Blood Storm.’
In Blood Storm, if the title was not a giveaway, players Strom of the X-Men will be introduced to the game as a playable hero, and there will be new missions to tackle in the DLC-spanning vampyre storyline that started with the release of the Deadpool DLC and has carried through the Venom and Morbius releases.
Check out the trailer for the Blood Storm DLC below.
All four DLC instalments will be available at launch for PlayStation and Xbox One players who purchase the Legendary Edition of the game or pick up the Marvel’s Midnight Suns Season Pass.
The news that the Nintendo Switch version of the game has been cancelled was offered as a quick note in the latest news post on the Midnight Suns website.
“Note that a Nintendo Switch version of Marvel’s Midnight Suns is no longer planned.”
