Montreal-based developer Paper Cult has announced that its co-op hack-and-slash roguelike Tears of Metal will be released into Early Access on July 22 on PC, with an Xbox console release planned before the end of 2026.

The Early Access version includes three Acts to play, each featuring different enemies and bosses. You’ll also have access to three playable heroes, village upgrades, equipment, emblems, companions and a range of progression systems, with additional content planned throughout the Early Access period.
