The Expanse: Osiris Reborn Details How Player Choices Will Shape Your Story

Owlcat Games has shared new details on how player choice will work in The Expanse: Osiris Reborn, with decisions affecting everything from faction-specific missions to companion relationships and character development.

Some of the examples they’ve shared include how you’ll select an origin story tied to March, Earth, or the Belt, and how each background will bring its own influence and can change how the world reacts to your player character. And then throughout the game you’ll also have many choices to make, and companions will also be affected by the decisions you make throughout the game.

Owlcat highlighted Polly, the youngest member of the crew, as one example. You will shape your relationship with her through smaller conversations and decisions before eventually choosing a mentor for her. That choice can change how Polly develops and even unlock a unique non-combat skill line.
