The first PlayStation State of Play for 2025 is 40+ minutes and is tomorrow

There should be plenty to be excited about!

PlayStation Australia has announced that the first State of Play for 2025 will air tomorrow, 13 February, as an early Valentine’s Day gift to all of us.

The show will be over forty minutes long, so it’s hefty enough to start PlayStation fans off. And there should be plenty happening in the world of PlayStation this year to highlight on the show. Ghost of Yotei and Death Stranding 2: On The Beach are set to release later this year, and games like The Midnight Walk and Phantom Blade Zero are expected to release this year as well.

A trailer for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater leaked last week and is expected to be shown in the State of Play tomorrow. Suppose you REALLY want to buy into some tin-foil hat theories. In that case, some believe Sony’s recent takedown of Bloodborne fan-mod is a sign that a remaster/remake is finally on the way, but I personally wouldn’t read too much into any of that.

Here’s when you can watch the State of Play tomorrow around Australia and New Zealand:

  • Perth, Australia Thu, 13 Feb 2025 at 6:00 am AWST
