Our yearly predictions for what we think will get revealed or have “world exclusive” trailers during this year’s Game Awards show, once again, took place on Arcade Couch. From the new Elden Ring DLC to Hideo Kojima announcing a new game, there are predictions likely to the wild from Dylan, Ashley and Ciaran this year.

  • Hellblade 2 trailer… please, god

  • Netflix’s Arcane Season 2 trailer

  • Two Marvel trailers (for different games)

Awards that won’t be given out on The Game Awards stage

  • Best VR/AR Game

  • Best Family Game

  • Best Mobile Game

Dylan’s Predictions

  • Hideo Kojima comes out and reveals whatever all these last 12 months of teases of Elle Fanning and posters are all about

  • The Last of Us Factions (or whatever it’s actually called) gets a teaser with an official name.

  • The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom trailer

  • Some Fortnite Chapter 4 related trailer or event announcement

  • Uncharted 5 (or what would be the fifth game) teaser trailer

  • Best Adaptation

  • Best Audio Design

  • Best Score & Music

Ashley’s Predictions 

  • New Last of Us TV Show trailer; Pedro Pascal and Belle Ramsey to present

  • Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 trailer featuring Venom, Spider-Man and Green Goblin tease

  • Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora shown, release window revealed

  • Final Fantasy 16 trailer with a release date

  • Avowed, from Obsidian Entertainment, gets a new trailer
