The Mandalorian and Grogu Leads a Star Wars Disney+ Celebration in September

Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu comes to Disney+ Australia on September 2 alongside a new official podcast and LEGO Star Wars special.

Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu is making its Disney+ debut on September 2, 2026, following its theatrical release earlier this year.

The film reunites Din Djarin and Grogu for their big-screen adventure, with Pedro Pascal returning as the Mandalorian.

We watched the film when it was released in cinemas, and discussed our full-spoiler-filled thoughts in an episode of Holocron Entries, our Star Wars podcast.

The movie won’t be arriving alone, with Disney+ turning September 2 into something of a Mandalorian celebration.

The Mandalorian And Grogu Official Podcast

The two-part Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu Official Podcast will also premiere on Disney+ on September 2.

Filmed on the movie’s set, the behind-the-scenes series explores the making of the film with guests including Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, composer Ludwig Göransson, Pedro Pascal and Sigourney Weaver.

LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian

Also arriving on September 2 is LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian, a new animated special that offers a more comedic take on the three seasons of The Mandalorian.

The voice cast for this LEGO special includes Gavin Hammon as the Mandalorian, David Acord as Grogu, Amy Sedaris as Peli Motto, Bill Burr as Migs Mayfield, Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan Kryze, Giancarlo Esposito as Moff Gideon, Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand, Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano, Taika Waititi as IG-11 and IG-12, Temuera Morrison as Boba Fett and Timothy Olyphant as Cobb Vanth.

Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, The Mandalorian and Grogu Official Podcast and LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian all arrive on Disney+ on September 2, 2026.
