The first trailer for The Mandalorian: Season 3 was released this afternoon, and it gives us our first look at Din Djarin and Grogu back on the road again.

Our first look at the third season of The Mandalorian shows Din and Grogu travelling across the galaxy again, meeting up with old friends like Greef Karga, and making some new ones. This season, it seems a central plot point will be about Din wanting to return to Mandalore.

You may be confused if you did not watch The Book of Boba Fett. The second season (two years ago) ended with Din and Grogu splitting ways as Grogu left with Luke Skywalker. However, unable to stay away from Din, an episode of The Book of Boba Fett is, more or less, a prologue to this season and re-connects the two. In fact, Din even has a new ship in this trailer which he gets in The Book of Boba Fett. Although I do not think that series is good, if you plan on watching The Mandalorian: Season 3, I suggest you at least read a summary of the episode that concerns these characters most.
