JustWatch has revealed the most-streamed movies and TV shows for May 2026.

Movies
1.) The Devil Wears Prada
With the sequel now in cinemas, and being a huge film in itself, it’s not a surprise to see The Devil Wears Prada sitting at the top of the streaming charts for May 2026.
2.) Send Help
The latest film from director Sam Raimi was fantastic, and now that it’s available to stream digitally, I’m sure there’s a mix of people rewatching it and checking it out for the first time. Though you really missed out if you didn’t want this one in the cinema.
3.) Apex
Netflix’s latest action thriller starring Charlize Theron and Taron Egerton rounds out the top three. Big stars and an easy-to-watch premise make this an unsurprising addition to the charts.

Prime Video’s adaptation of this series of popular romance novels has proven very popular in the past month.
2.) Widow’s Bay
This new mystery series from Apple TV+ quickly rose through the ranks in May, another new series making the top three.
3.) Legends
And rounding out the top three for May was another original series, this one on Netflix. Surprisingly, this means all of the follow-up seasons, including something like Euphoria: Season 3, didn’t make the cut for the gold, silver, or bronze plaaces for May 2026.
