Netflix held its annual TUDUM event for 2025, featuring announcements and musical acts, with Lady Gaga and Hanuman taking to the stage.
Hanumankind performed his massive hit ‘The Game Don’t Stop’ from Squid Game: Season 2. Lady Gaga performed some of her most popular anthems, including ‘Abracadabra,’ before it was announced that she would be in the upcoming Wednesday: Season 2, where she’ll play a mysterious teacher named Rosaline Rotwood. There were plenty of moments for fans between the fans in attendance and also behind the scenes, with the crowd brimming with excitement for those in attendance. They were very loud, and some of the actors struggled to hit their cues amongst all the loud cheering and sequels.

Squid Game: Season 3
A brand new trailer for Squid Game: Season 3 has revealed that the final season will be released on July 27.
Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery
The third instalment in Rian Johnson’s Benoit Blanc mystery has received its first trailer, along with a release date of December 12. The cast for this one also includes Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Cailee Spaeny, and Daryl McCormack.
One Piece: Season 2
The cast took to the stage with some WWE Superstars to unveil a first look at the upcoming season, as well as ‘Tony Tony Chopper,’ a fan-favourite character that’ll be introduced in season 2. They’ll be voiced by Mikaela Hoover, who is set to play Cat Grant in Superman and also voiced and motion-captured ‘Floor the Rabbit’ in Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 3.
The Rip
Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are teaming up for a new crime thriller from Joe Carnahan, the director behind Smokin’ Aces. They also showed a teaser trailer and revealed the film would be arriving on January 16, 2026.
If you want to watch this teaser trailer, however, you’ll have to find the whole TUDUM event on Netflix, as it has been hidden and will only be shown during the full event.
Frankenstein
Guillermo del Toro’s next project, Frankenstein, has revealed a first-look teaser starring Jacob Elordi, Oscar Isaac, and Mia Goth.
Happy Gilmore 2
The first proper trailer for Happy Gilmore 2 was released. The film is set to arrive on Netflix on July 25.
Stranger Things: Season 5
The final season has its final countdown — countdown. Stranger Things: Season 5 has been divided into episodic drops, with four episodes released on November 26, three episodes on Christmas Day, and the finale on New Year’s Eve.
Wednesday: Season 2
A new clip from Season 2 has arrived, along with the news that this season will be split into two parts: the first will premiere on August 6, followed by the second on September 3.
