Pokémon Unite launched today on Nintendo Switch, and you’ll want to jump into the game ASAP to grab yourself the Mythical Pokémon, Zeraora. 

Although you can get a couple of Pokémon for free in your first hour or two of play, and the game will rotate which characters are in the weekly ‘free-to-play’ pool, you can get yourself a Zeraora to own forever, right now. 

All you have to do to earn your Zeraora is turn the game on before August 31st. That means downloading, starting, and creating an account for Pokémon Unite. But since the game is free-to-play, there’s no reason not to do that now.

Once you’ve gotten through some tutorials and you have access to the main menu, head to the mail section by pressing X and scrolling to the bottom of the menu. Inside you’ll find you have received a system message and a launch bonus, which is, of course, your Zeraora to use in battle.

Zeraora favours the middle section of the map, which is Pokémon Unite’s version of being a jungler. They have fast attacks and abilities that can close gaps, making them great for ganking unsuspecting enemies in their lanes.
