PlayStation and Firesprite Games have announced Until Dawn 2, a brand-new sequel to the 2015 horror game from Supermassive Games.
Revealed during this week’s State of Play, the sequel introduces a completely new cast, setting, and standalone story, with one thread connecting it to the first game: Peter Stormare reprising his role as the mysterious Dr Hill.
Until Dawn 2 will follow the crew behind “Dead True,” a popular paranormal investigation channel known more for faking its scares than for finding real supernatural activity. But this trip, they’re going to find more than they bargain for on a remote tropical island.

Firesprite has said that player choice remains at the heart of the game, with every major decision shaping who survives until dawn. “Everyone can live, everyone can die,” as the trailer states.
Until Dawn 2 is coming to PlayStation 5 in 2027.
