‘Velocity 2X’ Blasts Onto Nintendo Switch Next Week

The ultra-fast shoot-em-up and platformer hybrid Velocity 2X from developer FuturLab is making its way to the Nintendo Switch next week on September 20th.

As Lt. Kai Tana you will blast enemies on foot and in your ship as you attempt to play through each level addictively to perfection.

When Velocity 2X released on PS4/PS Vita in 2014 I was a huge fan even if I wasn’t fantastic at the game. It’s beautiful (I have a signed poster of the game’s art) and plays amazingly. It’s sad more people didn’t play it, but now is a chance for Switch owners to play Velocity 2X.

The Switch version will play at 1080p docked, 720p in handheld, but most importantly, 60fps either way — which is key in this game.
