The team behind No Time to Relax, Icelandic studio Porcelain Fortress, has unveiled its next game, Walk of Life, which will be showcased in a demo at Steam Next Fest.

Walk of Life is a satirical life sim that lets you play out all the meandering and mundane tasks of real life if you haven’t got enough of that going on in your life at the moment. You need to get a 9-5 job, study, work, and remember to do things like having a shower.

You’ll be able to check out Walk of Life next week during Steam Next Fest when a demo will be available.

Arnar Valgeirsson, community manager at Porcelain Fortress, said: Our players will enter the Thunderdome of the daily grind, they will trample each other climbing the corporate ladder, and they will flaunt their position in middle management as a trophy earned in battle. Stopping to smell the roses is for losers. There can only be one champion in life, chosen by their impressive resume and their hoard of material objects.”
