Prime Video has released the first trailer for The Last Sunrise, a new romantic drama based on the novel by Anna Todd, ahead of its release on August 26, 2026.
Directed by Carlson Young, the film stars Maia Reficco, Fernando Lindez, and Eva Longoria. Check out the first trailer below.
Based on the beloved novel, The Last Sunrise follows Ry (Maia Reficco), a college student with a chronic illness, on a summer escape to Mallorca with her mother (Eva Longoria). As she unexpectedly falls for Julián (Fernando Lindez) and begins to embrace living in the moment, her worsening condition and long-hidden family secrets threaten to unravel everything before the summer ends.
The screenplay was written by Anna Klassen, with the film based on Anna Todd’s novel. Todd is best known for writing the After series, which was previously adapted into a successful film franchise.
