WolfEye Studios has shared a roadmap for the upcoming release of free updates for Weird West, which has had over 400,000 roaming through its rough world since March 31.

Teasing the first of these updates, the press release reads: 

“Reports are rolling in from across the Weird West of a plague of undead rising from the grave! Worse, a terrible sickness seems to follow in their wake. 

The plague marks the first in a series of planned live events for the game that will soon grow to include new story events, encounters, expansions and Journeys.”

In our review for Weird West, Wil gave the game an 8/10 and said:

“The opportunities within Weird West do feel endless at times due to the emergent gameplay, story beats and the way you are endlessly rewarded for exploration. Capped off by some excellent presentation, atmosphere and fascinating story, Weird West’s detracting factors are only minor marks on an overall great experience.”
