Well Dweller Launches September 22 With Day One Xbox Game Pass Release

Well Dweller, the new Metroidvania from Kyle Thompson, the creator of Crypt Custodian and Islets, has received a release date of September 22 from publisher Top Hat Studios, and it will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one.

Originally revealed during a Nintendo Indie World showcase, Well Dweller is a dark fairy-tale adventure starring Glimmer, a tiny bird armed with a matchstick. His goal is suitably grim: burn the wicked queen before his family becomes part of her royal gown.

Alongside the previously announced Nintendo Switch and PC versions, Well Dweller is now confirmed for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2. The Switch 2 version will feature higher-resolution graphics and improved texture quality.
