William Friedkin’s The Hunted Gets a Limited Edition 4K Release

Imprint Films has announced William Friedkin’s The Hunted as its latest Limited Edition release for September, bringing the 2003 action thriller to 4K UHD and Blu-ray in a premium Hardbox edition.

Starring Tommy Lee Jones and Benicio del Toro, the release is a 2-disc 4K UHD + Blu-ray Hardbox and includes a 60-page Hardcover Booklet.

William Friedkin’s action thriller The Hunted joins the Imprint Collection on 4K UHD and Blu-ray, starring Tommy Lee Jones and Benicio del Toro in a cat-and-mouse chase, packed with suspense and brutal, violent confrontation.

In the wilderness of British Columbia, two hunters are tracked and viciously murdered by Aaron Hallam. A former Special Operations instructor is approached and asked to apprehend Hallam (his former student), who has gone rogue after suffering severe battle stress from his time in Kosovo.

Also starring Connie Nielsen, John Finn, and Johnny Cash in an uncredited role as the Narrator, The Hunted was awarded three-and-a-half stars (out of four) from Roger Ebert, describing the film as a “pure and rather inspired example of the one-on-one chase movie”.
