Xbox lived up to the hype with promises of a fast-paced showcase featuring a lot of games, and that’s how the Xbox Games Showcase 2023 played out.

Here’s everything from the Xbox Games Showcase for 2023.

Fable

Starring Richard Ayoade, the trailer for Fable was only a cinematic one; however, it’s full of charm and British humour and feels like a modern take on the franchise.

Fable is coming to Xbox Series X|S and PC.

South of Midnight

Another cinematic-only trailer, but our first look at what Compulsion Games has been working on at Xbox.

South of Midnight is coming to Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Star Wars: Outlaws

We’d heard rumours that Massive Entertainment and Ubisoft’s Star Wars game could be ready to reveal, and here it is, with the gameplay walkthrough coming at the Ubisoft Forward tomorrow morning.

Star Wars Outlaws is launching on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC.

33 Immortals

From the developer of Spiritfater — and looking nothing like that game — 33 Importalts is a fantasy isometric action game, but the hook here is it features a 33-player co-op.

33 Immortals is coming to PC and Xbox Series X|S.

Pay Day 3

The first gameplay trailer for Pay Day 3 showcased the high octane heights.

Pay Day 3 is releasing on September 21st for Xbox, PlayStation and PC.

Persona 3 Reloaded

Even though Atlus leaked their own trailer a day early on their socials, let’s pretend to be shocked.

It’s a Persona 3 remake, wow! The game looks fantastic and is a massive upgrade from PS3P.

Persona 3 Reloaded is coming to Xbox and PC.

Avowed

Set in the same universe as Pillars of Eternity, the first gameplay trailer for Avowed showed the fantasy setting in the first-person and the action combining spells and weapons.

Avowed is coming to Xbox Series X|S.

Sea of Thieves – The Legend of Monkey Island

Sea of Thieves is releasing a cross-over with The Legend of Monkey Island, which features all the classic characters.

Sea of Thieves: The Legend of Monkey Island is releasing on July 20th.

Microsoft Flight Simulator – Expansion

There’s a ridiculous amount of content coming to Microsoft Flight Simulator in 2024, including helicopter rescues, speed flying balloons and more.

Oh, and there’s a cross-over with Dune: Part II releasing on November 3rd.

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II

A creepy new trailer for Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II confirms that the game is indeed still coming and that wearing headphones while all those voices are bouncing around is a lot to deal with a 3 AM.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth

Ichiban Kasuga seems to have woken up on a beach outside of Japan in the first trailer for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.

Fallout 76 – Atlantic City

More content is coming to Fallout 76, and this trailer focuses on the success of the player base and commitment to building on the game that Bethesda has had over the past couple of years.

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess

There are some gorgeous, grotesque and fascinating creatures in the first trailer for Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, an action game coming from Capcom.

Forza Motorsport

A new trailer for Forza Motorsport showcases the cover stars in the 2023 No. 01 Cadillac Racing V-Series.R and the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray.

Forza Motorspot is coming to Xbox Series X|S and PC on October 10th.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Necrom – Shadow of Morrowind

A massive trailer sets up the next chapter in The Elder Scrolls Online.

Overwatch 2

I’m confused about just what Blizzard is and isn’t making for Overwatch 2 these days, but this trailer showed off a new game mode, co-op and story mission and more which is coming to the game on August 10th.

Persona 5 Tactica

Persona is getting a turn-based, grid-based tactics spin-off called Persona 5 Tactica, and it’s releasing on November 17th this year for Xbox and PC.

Starfield

Even though there’s plenty of Starfield to come at the bookend of this showcase, Bethesda snuck in a cheeky trailer here for Starfield

Jusant

This looks like a really different game from Dont Nod, with puzzle-solving and a lot of climbing.

Still Wakes The Deep

Set in 1975, a disaster strikes an oil rig off the Scottish coast in The Chinese Room’s upcoming narrative horror game, Still Wake The Deep which is coming to PC and Consoles in early 2024.

Dungeons of Hinterberg

Explore dungeons, enjoy the lush scenic routes past cows and more while skating on a sword and more in this trailer for Dungeons of Hinterberg

Cyberpunk 2077 – Phantom Liberty

Keanu Reeves showed up to introduce the trailer for Phantom Liberty, the massive expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 that’s releasing on September 26th.

Cities Skylines 2

Cities Skylines 2 looks to be upping everything in terms of scope in its first trailer.

Metaphor Re-Fantazio

The team behind the last several core Persona games are doing something that looks very similar and different in Metaphor Re Fantazio. The game is set to release in 2024.

Towerborne

Towerborne is a side-scrolling action game with co-op that’s coming to Xbox and PC in 2024.

Clockwork Revolution

What looks like Bioshock: Infinite at first turns out to be Clockwork Revolution, the new steampunk game from inXile. Based on the “it’ll be ready when it’s ready” ending to the trailer, I’d guess the release of Clockwork Revolution is some time away.

Xbox Series S – New Model

Phil Spencer announced a new 1TB Black Xbox Series S that is releasing on September 1st.

That’s everything from the Xbox Games Showcase as things spun off into the Starfield Direct from this point. If you’d like to watch the Xbox Games Showcase in full, check out the video below.
