Xbox Nano Controller Announced For Australia With November 2026 Release Date

Microsoft reveals the Xbox Nano Controller, a smaller and lighter Xbox controller

Microsoft has announced the Xbox Nano Controller, a smaller and lighter alternative to its standard Xbox controller, with an Australian release planned for November 2026.

Designed for younger players, people with smaller hands and anyone wanting a more portable controller, the Xbox Nano measures just over five inches (12.7cm) long and weighs approximately 0.99kg

If you’re wondering if there’s any sacrifice in buttons or layout, it doesn’t look like it. With the smaller size, it still retains all 18 standard button inputs, plus a programmable ‘Action Button.’

The Xbox Nano Controller uses a rechargeable battery, but it doesn’t include the required USB-C charging cable, and it supports both Xbox Wireless and Bluetooth connectivity.

The Xbox Nano Controller costs $79.95, and pre-orders are open now on the Xbox website for a November 11 release.
