D&D-Style Card Game Hybrid ‘Hand of Fate 2’ Deals Onto Nintendo Switch July 17
by Dylan Blight

Australian developer Defiant Development has revealed that Hand of Fate 2 will be dealing a fresh hand onto Nintendo Switch in just one week’s time — July 17.
Hand of Fate 2 combines D&D-style storytelling with a third-person fantasy brawler and a tabletop card game. It’s an interesting concept that’s fun for fans of any of the elements it blends — and it should be especially well-suited to Switch in handheld mode.
The Steam page description for Hand of Fate 2 reads:
“A new hero rises to challenge the Dealer in Hand of Fate 2! Master a living boardgame of infinitely replayable quests — unlock new cards, build your adventure, then defeat your foes in brutal real-time combat! Draw your cards, play your hand and discover your fate!”
Originally released on Xbox One and PC in November last year, the Nintendo Switch version of Hand of Fate 2 will include all DLC released on PC from November through April, with more DLC planned post-launch.
