‘Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts’ Announced For 2019
by Dylan Blight
CI Games have today announced the next entry into their ‘Sniper‘ franchise with Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts.
You’ll be travelling to the Siberian wilderness in the series fifth entry where you’ll be taking on — as you may have guessed — contracts, which will be more mission orientated compared to the last game in the franchise, Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 (released in 2017) which featured an open-world aspect.
The contracts you take on in the single-player campaign will offer up a reward for completing the main objective, with rewards for the secondary objectives as well. The game will also reward you again for replaying missions with more money for repeat playthroughs as the player looks for new ways to complete the objectives in the Siberian jungles which will be offering up hash new obstacles to overcome.
Chief Executive Officer of CI Games, Marek Tymiński hopes to make-up for fans criticism of the previous game and hopes the changes the team at CI Games are making will fix their mistakes.
“We were too ambitious in terms of the scope of Sniper Ghost Warrior 3, but we’ve learned from our missteps. Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts will be more focused on emergent gameplay with an open-ended mission design that the team feels strong about, but it will not be set in an open world. It is going to be a more tactical, more condensed experience and the game will offer plenty of replayability, both on the single player campaign and on the multiplayer modes.”
Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts will also feature a multiplayer mode and we can look forward to more details in the future with the game set to be released sometime in 2019 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
