Nintendo held its June Direct early Wednesday morning, and it did end with a big one, with the reveal of the long-rumoured The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake. The rest of the Nintendo Direct also featured plenty of other surprising new additions, including Kingdom Hearts IV getting some new gameplay.
Here are all the trailers and the news from the June 2026 Nintendo Direct.
Rhythm Heaven Groove
This one-bit rhythm game has 80 mini-games, and you’ll be able to unlock new modes to play, like a sort of RPG version of a dungeon crawler. There is also a 30-player multiplayer mode with up to four players.
Rhythm Heaven Groove is releasing on Nintendo Switch on July 2.
Onimusha: Way of the Sword
A trailer for the game was shown, yes, it’s coming to Nintendo Switch 2, and you can use the Joy-Cons for motion controls.
Onimusha: Way of the Sword releases on September 25.
Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen
This expanded version of Dragon’s Dogma 2 adds new content and comes to Nintendo Switch 2 for the first time on October 9.
Stellar Blade
Stellar Blade is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026.
Orbitals
This two-player space adventure is releasing on Nintendo Switch 2 on October 3.
Rayman Legends Retold
Rayman Legends Retold was revealed during last week’s State of Play, and now here’s a trailer announcing its October 1 release on Nintendo Switch 2.
Big Walk
The Aussie walking/puzzle/odd-ball game got a new trailer during this Nintendo Direct, and it revealed it’s releasing on August 4.
One Piece: Grand Gourmet
A One Piece cooking game was revealed, it’s going to have over 400 characters from the anime/manga, and it’s releasing on October 23.
Pokémon Pokopia
A free software update is coming in August 2026 that’ll let you dive underwater.
There’s also an expansion pass coming that’ll cost money, but it’ll add new areas, the first one titled ‘Bubbly Basin.’
Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave
The next entry in the Fire Emblem series is set to release in the ever-crowded September, on September 17, 2026.
Ninjala 2: The Uncharted Planet
This one is set to release later this year on Nintendo Switch 2.
DK Challenge
Unlock exclusive Donkey Kong digital card collectibles by completing DK Challenges in various Donkey Kong games.
Donkey Kong: DK Island & Emberal Island x Mario 40th
Costumes, question blocks, and coins are being added to the DLC.
Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivaton
It’s vampire survivors, but it’s anime, and there are battle royale elements.
Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivaton will be released later in 2026 for the Nintendo Switch 2.
Lords of the Fallen II
The souls-like sequel/reboot, Lords of the Fallen II, is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026.
Lies of P: Complete Edition
Talking about soulslikes coming to Nintendo Switch 2, here’s Lies of P, releasing on August 6 in digital and physical on October 2.
Devil May Cry 5: Devil Hunter Edition
The third game in this series of action game announcements, Devil May Cry 5, is coming.
Muramasa: Revenant Blades
Coming in early 2027.
Xenoblade Chronicles
All three Xenoblade games are getting Nintendo Switch 2 versions with upgraded visual fidelity and frame rates, and they’re adding vehicles to the first game, mercenary battles in the second, and wave battles to the third game — plus more across all three games.
Xenoblade Genesis
A brand-new Xenoblade adventure was also announced with Xenoblade Genesis. The reveal trailer didn’t give away too much, but Nintendo confirmed the game will release in 2027. The announcement followed news that all three Xenoblade Chronicles games are receiving enhanced Nintendo Switch 2 editions.
Nintendo Switch Sports Resort
We’re getting 13 games in this new package coming to Nintendo Switch 2. Players will return to Wuhu Island while competing across a mix of classic and brand-new sports.

Star Fox
Nintendo revealed a remake of Star Fox 64 simply titled Star Fox. The game features upgraded visuals, expanded levels, challenge modes, online multiplayer and optional mouse controls using the Joy-Con.
A demo is available now ahead of the game’s June 25, 2026 release.
Final Fantasy Resonance
The first HD-2D Final Fantasy game features some great art and the ability to call on heroes from other Final Fantasy games.
Final Fantasy Resonance will release on October 22.
Pikuniku 2
This one is releasing in 2027.
Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World
This one is set to release on December 3, 2026.
The Duskbloods
We finally got a new trailer for The Duskbloods, no release date, and not a lot of information in the trailer, but a closed network test is coming later this year.
Splatoon Raiders
In this new trailer for Splatoon Raiders, Nintendo showcased the game’s AI companions, survival mechanics and exploration of the mysterious Spirhalite Islands. Members of Deep Cut — Shiver, Frye and Big Man — will accompany players throughout the adventure as they battle Salmonids, craft equipment and uncover the secrets of the islands.
Splatoon Raiders is set to release on July 23, 2026.

The Atlus game that the team worked on between Persona projects is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on November 12.
Minecraft
A dedicated Nintendo Switch 2 version of Minecraft is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 with improvements to both visuals and performance. It’s releasing later in 2026.

Kingdom Hearts
All of the Kingdom Hearts games are coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on October 8, giving players the chance to experience the full saga natively on Nintendo hardware. Nintendo also announced a playable demo for Kingdom Hearts III.
Kingdom Hearts IV
Out of all the places to expect to see some more information on Kingdom Hearts IV, it wasn’t going to be in a Nintendo Direct, but here we are. Square Enix surprised fans with a brand-new trailer. The game was confirmed for Nintendo Switch 2 alongside other platforms, although no release date was announced.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Nintendo ended the showcase with the long-rumoured remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. We only got a brief teaser and confirmation that the remake will launch in 2026, with Nintendo promising more details in the future.
