Ubisoft is celebrating the 25th Anniversary of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon with a free update for Ghost Recon Wildlands, including a brand-new mission, current-gen upgrades and the return of the Predator event.
A new mission titled ‘Last Rites’ is available now and takes the Ghosts back to Bolivia.
Wildlands has also received an upgrade on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, adding 60 FPS gameplay and visuals targeting 4K resolution. Ubisoft says the update also improves draw distances, lighting and shadows.
Looking at the future of Ghost Recon as well, Ubisoft has opened registrations for the ‘Ghost Recon Insider Program.’
While Ubisoft isn’t quite ready to properly reveal what’s next for the series, we now know development is moving forward with the community being brought into the process.
