The team at Six One Indie returned for their fifth showcase this year, highlighting more games that may be under the radar in the coming weeks as the Summer Games Showcase kicks off.
With a pre-show hosted by mascot ‘Petey,’ before hosts Mike Towndrow and Kyle Stephenson of Six One Indie took the reins. From there, it starts with a pigeon wanting to deliver pizza, before moving through to a Grandma wreaking havoc, and ending with a dinosaur action-RPG.
Here are all the trailers and news from the Six One Indie Showcase 2025:
GuGu Pizza: Delivering Pizza to the Space Station? Boss, this is just not right!
You’re a pigeon, and you’ve got to deliver pizza to a space station, and as the title implies, that just doesn’t seem right.
Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders
Race down snowy mountains with 2-8 players in this cross-platform game that was released back in January.
Leftovers KO!
This is a Punch-Out-inspired boxing game with fantastic animation and hand-drawn characters based on different types of food that come to life.
Equinox: Homecoming
At first, I was getting Saddle Club vibes, and then Life is Strange, but maybe it’s a little bit of both worlds. There are mysteries, horses, and exploration. Equinox: Homecoming looks to have a specific audience, and I think I’m part of it.
Leila
Gorgeous hand-drawn animation in this story-driven puzzle game looks to dive into some very adult themes.
Muffles’ Life Sentence
I’m intrigued but feel like I have no way to describe what I watched.
Fraymakers [Exclusive Look]
This Smash Bros-inspired platform fighting game has been in Early Access since 2023, but the trailer here is announcing a new character coming to the game
Truth Scrapper [World Premiere]
The new game from the developer of In Stars and Time. Not an RPG, the time around, and more of a puzzle/visual novel game, but still with some fantastic-looking art.
Shadows of Chroma Tower [Showcase Debut]
A dungeon-crawler with PvE dungeons and PvP modes, all with stylistic art and neon colour choices for the genre.
Artis Impact [Exclusive Look]
An interesting-looking RPG with hand-drawn art, comic-style ‘cut-scenes,’ and turn-based combat.
Wishlist on Steam, and it’s releasing on August 8th.
1000 Deaths [Exclusive Look]
This one looks like a PS1-inspired oddity, as you race through these odd 3D worlds.
Wishlist on Steam – a demo is available now
Bobo Bay [Showcase Debut]
Little bit Pokemon, little bit racer, as you train, race, and fashionista little creatures.
Bonnie Bear Saves Frogtime [Showcase Debut]
From the same team as Once Upon a Jester comes Bonnie Bear Saves Frogtime, which looks as silly and inspired with frog-battles.
Oscuro Blossom’s Glow [Exclusive Look]
Lovely art in this puzzle-platforming adventure, where it seems you are exploring a deep burrow.
Cast n Chill [World Premiere]
Looks like a chill fishing game to me.
Future Vibe Check [Exclusive Look]
This was an intriguing in-depth look at Future Vibe Check, which is a music-creation game, but in a system that looks to make it less frustrating and more about experimentation.
Fretless – The Wrath of Riffson
Continuing on the music-train with this turn-based RPG where you do battle with riff-attacks.
Away From Home [Exclusive Look]
And then slide into this turn-based rhythm RPG with wonderful 2.5D art and worlds that look like they’ve come from the Dreamcast.
Anatine
This is a Metroidvania in which you play as a brave duck, which is the pitch and all you should need, really. It looks great.
Scratch The Cat [World Premiere]
A 3D platforming adventure with those PS1/PS2 throw-back vibes, also a banging track in the trailer gives extra ingirue here.
1000xRESIST Vinyl [World Premiere]
There’s a 1000xRESIST vinyl coming!
Jump the Track [Exclusive Look]
This is a pegglin’ insirpied game with a visual-novel element, but the tone is comedy, which isn’t something you see often in games.
Scaravan 66 [Exclusive Look]
You jump into a car and duel in intense car-combat with a gothic-inspired vibe and heavy metal tunes.
Wishlist on Steam – Early Access is coming on July 6th
Rogue Eclipse [Exclusive Look]
Looking like a space-marie-type FPS
GlitchSPANKR [Exclusive Look]
Talking about comedy again with this odd-looking and chaos-incuding game where I think your toilet has come to life, amongst other things.
Guilty as Sock! [Showcase Debut]
The socks are the lawyers and you’re using cards as you gather evidence. Most importantly you can shout “objection!”
Grandma, No! [Exclusive Look]
A physics-based grandma game. So, it’s a first.
Building Relationships [Exclusive Look]
In this game, you’re a building. And you’ll roll and tumble your way into things, which means you’ll become friends with them… maybe.
HOTEL BARCELONA [Exclusive Look]
Someone has finally given the roguelike a horror-movie-inspired makeover.
Rue Valley [Exclusive Look]
Taking the ‘infinite-loop’ aka Groundhog Day twist, but onto an adventure point-and-click game. Looks pretty intriguing to me!
CARIMARA – Beneath the forlorn limbs [World Premiere]
There’s a creepy old lady and some cards.
BattleVersus [World Premiere]
The Kickstarter link is coming soon…
A Week in the Life of Asocial Giraffe [Showcase Debut]
This looks relatable because you play as a giraffe who just wants to get on with his life, but keeps getting bothered.
Inkshade
Intriguing design on this one as it’s a tactics game where you’re playing on these wooden boards, with miniature figures.
Kejora [Showcase Debut]
Another time-loop one, but this time kids are trying to break the curese in this platforming action-adventure game with a cartoon animation style.
One way home [Showcase Debut]
You’re trying to get home through a bunch of nightmares, and there are hand-in walls, which are always the worst.
MOUSE: P.I. For Hire
New trailer for MOUSE: P.I For Hire, in an exciting upcoming FPS.
Kabuto Park [Showcase Debut]
Bug collecting!
The Wide Open Sky is Running out of Catfish [Showcase Debut]
Someone has decided to make a photography game, but did the art on MS Paint, and it’s a vibe that’s working.
Forbidden Solitaire [Showcase Debut]
My Pop’s worst nightmare is that solitaire goes bad.
Quite a Ride [Showcase Debut]
Save the dog in this horror game where it seems like you’re trying to outrun the mist!
Benny Bash [Showcase Debut]
This game looks very weird, and fit into the genre of just ‘odd-shit’ that I’m all about like Pony Island.
Video Ghastlies [Exclusive Look]
This game was called ‘Dead Format,’ or still is? Either way it’s a first-person horror game where you’re looking for your brother and finding huge-scary critters instead.
Blue Ridge Hunting [World Premiere]
Go hinting with a friend in this co-op horror game where you’re looking for something in the mountains and just finding dead things instead.
Petal Runner
Cutie-vibes in this slide-of-life RPG with great art, a Tamagotchi-inspired mini-game and what looks to be a bunch of interesting characters.
ODDBAT [Showcase Debut]
It’s a platformer, or float-former(?), where you’re playing as the batform of a vampire for most of the game. It looks challenging!
Kidbash: Super Legend [Exclusive Look]
This is a super-retro-inspired design with the added bonus of adorable claymation.
DinoBlade [World Premiere]
It’s kind of in the title with this one. You’re playing as a dinosaur with a big sword in its mouth. And there are other dinosaurs with the same predicament—do battle!
You can check out the showcase below if you missed the live stream!
