Alongside the news that a Splatoon spin-off called Splatoon Raiders is on its way, the five-minute video posted on ‘Nintendo Today’ — tonight also shared information on the next update for Splatoon 3.
Version 10.0 of Splatoon 3 will be released on June 12, introducing a few new features. Firstly, for Nintendo Switch 2 owners, this update will enhance visuals and performance when playing on that console. They pointed out that the heaviest areas in the games with a lot of NPCs will look a lot better after this patch on Nintendo Switch 2.

And for everyone, ‘Urchin Underpass’ is returning to the game. There will be 30 new weapons as part of the Barazushi / Emberz collection, and the ‘Weapons Freshness’ cap is being raised, alongside the addition of new in-game badges for players to unlock.
This patch will be live in just a couple of days, so will you be diving into Splatoon 3 on your Nintendo Switch 2 to check out the upgrades? Or firing it back up on your Nintendo Switch to play the returning map or check out the new guns? Let me know in the comments section below.
