Let’s look at the Australian Box Office results from Thu 17th Jul 2025 – Wed 23rd Jul 2025
Superman has seen a 48% drop in its second week, taking in just under $7M, but still took the top spot at the box office for the second consecutive week. It will be intriguing to see the numbers next week with the release of Fantastic Four: First Steps. Will Superman be able to hold on to second place, assuming Marvel’s latest will jump straight to the top in its first week?
Elsewhere, Jurassic World Rebirth continues to prove any estimates I may have had wrong, as it approaches the $30 million mark, and F1: The Movie remains strong, not far behind. The newest entry this week is I Know What You Did Last Summer, a horror legacy sequel, which took in $1.3M in its first week.
