Apple will begin producing their first Peanuts feature film in 2024.
As reported by Variety, production on the film is set to begin in early 2024, and the story will focus on Peanuts on the gang heading into the Big City “learning the true meaning of friendship while meeting some surprising new friends along the way.”
Tara Sorensen, Apple’s Head of Children’s Programming, said:

We can’t wait for everyone to experience this heartwarming new adventure with Snoopy, Charlie Brown and the gang in the Big City.”
The untitled film is being co-written by Karey Kirkpatrick, with an original story from Craig Schulz, Bryan Schulz and Cornelius Uliano, who all co-wrote The Peanuts Movie, which was released in 2015 under 20th Century Fox. Steve Martino, who directed The Peanuts Movie, will return to direct this new film.
