‘Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown’ PSVR Trailer Looks Intense

During Sony’s Line-Up tour for TGS Bandai Namco revealed a new trailer showing off the PSVR mode for Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, and it looks intense.

Although Bandai Namco previously hadn’t shown off much of the PSVR mode, and the initial reveal that the game wouldn’t be fully playable in VR—rather an extra campaign—was upsetting to fans, this new trailer shows the PSVR content is going to include very intense sky battles.

You may feel your tummy turn in the latest trailer showing off high-flying air combat and barrel rolls. But the trailer also reveals some less-intense content for VR, including the ability to look over your craft and, at one point, what appears to be the ability to just watch craft take off from a ship.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is releasing for PS4, Xbox One and Windows on 18 January 2019, although the PSVR content is, of course, exclusive to PS4.
