In a world of what seems like a million different remakes of classics, it’s surprising it’s taken this long, but a new version of Alfred Hitchcock’s classic, The Birds, is on its way, being shopped around to networks right now.
As reported by Deadline, the limited series will star Sarah Snook as Myra Massey, who returns to her Alaskan home and, while investigating the potential murder of a friend, finds the town is overrun with murderous birds.
The Birds is written by Tom Spezialy, known for his work on The Leftovers and Watchmen.
