This weekend the best players in Pokemon Sword & Shield, Pokemon TCG, Pokemon GO, Pokemon Unite, Pokken Tournament DX and Pokemon GO will gather in one location for the 2022 Pokemon World Championships. 

The Pokemon 2022 World Championships are taking place in London this year, and it’ll be the first time a major Pokemon Championship has occurred since the pandemic. It’ll also be the first time a champion will be crowned for the Pokemon GO and Pokemon Unite games.

You’ll be able to watch all the action across several locations* but to make it easier for you, I’ve got a schedule in the Australian times** below.

Day One – Thursday, 18th of August 

• Pokemon TCG (Swiss): 6PM – 6AM (Friday)

• Pokemon VGC (Swiss): 6PM – 5AM (Friday)

• Pokemon GO (Last Chance Qualifier): 6PM – 2AM (Friday)

• Pokken Tournament DX (Last Chance Qualifier): 6PM – 2AM (Friday)

Day Two – Friday 19th of August 

• Pokemon TCG (Swiss): 6PM – 6:15AM (Saturday)

• Pokemon VGC (Swiss): 6PM – 3AM (Saturday)

• Pokemon GO (Main Double Elimination Bracket): 6PM – 12AM (Saturday)

• Pokemon Unite (Group Stage): 6PM – 3AM (Sunday)

• Pokken Tournament DX (Double Elimination, Senior Finals, MAster Finals, Trophy Presentation Immediately Following): 6PM – 3AM (Saturday)

Day Three – Saturday, 20th of August 

• Pokemon TCG (Single Elimination Top Cut): 6PM – 4AM (Sunday)

• Pokemon VGC (Single Elimination Top Cut): 6PM – 12AM (Sunday)

• Pokemon GO (Main Bracket, Senior and Master Division With Trophy Presentation Immediately Following): 6PM – 1AM (Sunday)

• Pokemon Unite (Double Elimination Bracket, Finals, Followed By Trophy Presentation): 6PM – 4:15AM (Sunday)

Day Four – Sunday, 21st of August

• Pokemon TCG (Junior, Senior and Masters Divisions Finals): 6PM

• Pokemon VGC (Junior, Senior and Masters Division Finals): 9:30PM
