The next season of Apex Legends of shaping up to be one of the best. A new map, hero, a vehicle and the introduction of clubs are all on their way.
Firstly, our new hero was revealed officially with a brand new ‘Stories From The Outlands.’ Her name is Horizon’s and her story is very reminiscent of Interstellar’plot. The animated shirt is just shy of that classic Matthew McConaughey crying scene.
All jokes aside, I got oddly emotional by the end of this video and think that’s something for Respawn to applaud themselves for.

Horizons description says that she was a “brilliant astrophysicist who escaped a black hole and aims to use her newfound mastery of gravity to keep a promise.” Which is a lot.
In case you don’t keep up to date with Apex and Titanfall lore, the franchise has always played around with alternate dimensions and time travel. One of the original heroes in the game, Wraith, travels between dimensions and when she enters the “void.” So it’s not exactly uncharted territory. But still, Horizon’s journey is about travelling back in time. She wants to return to her young son nearly 90 years into the past. That’s not even taking into account she could have landed in an alternate reality.
We’ll learn more about Horizon in the coming week I assume and a breakdown of what her abilities are.
The new map coming to Apex Legends: Season 7 is called ‘Olympus’. It’s the first new map since Apex Legends: Season 3. Respawn left this description on their website:
“Ascend to a beautiful, lush city in the clouds. Just watch your step — it’s a long way down to the planet below.”
And then there’s ‘The Trident’ which looks like a craft of some sort. The picture we haven’t isn’t revealing all just yet, but we do have this description:
“Olympus is a big place. Cover ground faster with the Trident. Plenty of room for the whole squad!”
Apex will also arrive on Steam in time for Season 7 with your Origin progress carrying over. Clubs will allow you to build a team of players to play with at all times. And, of course, there will be a new season of ranked and a brand new battle pass.
If you jump into Apex Legends now you can find that the rocket ship is hovering in the air and ready for takeoff. A tease for Season 7.
Apex Legends: Season 7 kicks off November 4th. Are you excited? Let me know in the comments section below.
