Let’s look at the Australian Box Office results from Thu, 26th Jun 2025 – Wed, 2nd Jul 2025.

It’s a first-place start and finish for F1, which has launched with one of the biggest debuts for any film so far this year, just over $ 10 million. The Brad Pitt-starring film is also having one of the biggest openings in the U.S and around the world, so it’ll be exciting to see how much this film ends up taking in as it draws people into the cinema. How to Train Your Dragon has experienced only a slight drop-off in its third week, decreasing from $6.3 million last week to $4.19 million this week. The film is expected to gross over $20M when it enters its fourth week in theatres next week. On the opposite side of success, M3GAN 2.0 has had one of the worst debuts for a major release film from Universal Pictures and Blumhouse, barely taking in half a million dollars in its opening week.
