Rita, the cute puzzle-adventure game from Australian developer SporkTank, has announced a July 30 release date for PC.
In the game, players control the titular chicklet, Rita, who must gather letters and solve word-based puzzles to learn more about her family’s story and progress through the world, all on a journey to meet her grandchicklet.
“It’s hard to believe this moment has arrived, but it’s also hard to believe it’s been two and a half years since this project started. I couldn’t be more excited to bring my cozy puzzle adventure to the world. The heart of this game really is a tribute to my grandmother. We did puzzles and played many word games together. I’m excited that players can experience some of the joy I experienced by doing these things with her.”
There’s a demo out now on Steam to check out if you haven’t already, and you can look forward to playing the game on July 30.
