If you’re all for collecting every version of some classics, it’s a month to triple, maybe quadruple down on films collectors may already own in August. 

Jaws is getting a new limited edition Steelbook release in August to celebrate its 50th anniversary (it’s also back in cinemas in August for one week only). If you’re like me, you probably already own Jaws a couple of times, but it may be worth revisiting for this Steelbook, which is perfect for collectors. There are also two Imprint releases in August for collectors to revisit, with The NeverEnding Story getting a Steelbook, following the team’s 4K releases previously. Additionally, a new Dune (1984) Limited Edition release is available.

Final Destination: Bloodlines releases on all formats, including a Steelbook, in August, and there’s also a new Final Destination six-film set coming out on the same day. Clown in a Cornfield will release on Blu-ray and DVD, but will miss a 4K drop, as will Doctor Who – Season 1, which will still receive some physical release, which should be a win in itself.
