It was a year ago when Rocksteady Studios first revealed their next DC game, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, and now one year later, we have a brand new trailer to get us excited.
If you’ve missed the memo, this isn’t Injustice; the Justice League is under control of the big-time Superman villain, Brainiac. Needing a way to put a stop to the mind-controlled Justice League, Amanda Waller activates Task Force X and sends Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang and King Shark into battle against the worlds strongest.
The trailer released during DC FanDome 2021 this morning is fun, violent and full of colourful personalities. The game’s tone is a lot more comedic than previous Rocksteady Studios Batman games, even with a more dire narrative happening in the background.
I’m looking forward to learning more about the game in the coming year as Rocksteady Studios aims to release the game in 2022.
