Cel-shaded Anime Battle Royale ‘Spellbreak’ is Coming To PS4 Next Year

The team at Proletariat announced that Spellbreak, their fantasy battle royale would be coming to PS4 in the future, with a beta in early 2020 kicking this off.
In Spellbreak you use a combination of elemental abilities to not only attack your enemies but also to get around the map as you use the wind to fly yourself across the map or ice to slide your way forward.
The game uses an RPG-like system that is seen in the trailer as numbers appear on enemies when you attack them to signify the damage you’re doing.
What is the most unique element to help Spellbreak stand out in the battle royale genre though is going to be its cel-shaded visuals which look beautiful and very anime-inspired.
The game is currently in closed beta on PC via the Epic Games Store and you can sign up HERE for a chance to grab a code as the team send out more codes every week.
The PS4 Beta is going to come in early 2020.
