Devolver Digital has announced Shroom and Gloom, which is described as “a moody first-person, roguelike double-deckbuilder.” The game comes from developer Lazerbeam, based out of Cape Town, and their previous games are Teenage Blob, Snowcones, and Wrestling With Emotions.

This is a first-person deck-building hack-and-slasher, like we haven’t really seen before. You build two decks in the game, one for moving around the dungeon and transforming your cards. While your combat deck is, as described, for battling it out with the dungeons that are full of fungus. You don’t just beat down the fungus here, though; you can roast it up to restore your health, so nothing is going to waste.

Check out the reveal trailer for the game below:

There’s also a demo out now on Steam, so you can wrap your hands around the fungie early.
