Arkane Studios have revealed a new IP in Deathloop which got a stylised and very grindhouse feeling trailer reveal during Bethesda’s E3 2019 Conference.

Much like Arkane Studios flagship franchise Dishonoured, which features a mix of action and stealth combat and multiple ways to tackle objectives — Deathloop promises the same. This time however things will be a bit more personal.

The game takes place on Black Reef island and sees two assassin’s battle it out across the stunning environments and landscape while attempting to take down other targets as well.

How exactly Deathloop all comes together we don’t know, but something weird is going on — we know that much. It seems death will play a big part as your character is stuck in some sort of Groundhog Day like-loop, or possibly just can’t die for whatever reason.

I can’t wait to see more of Deathloop in the future and the trailer definitely teases an interesting premise and world.
