Trippy rhythm game Melatonin has received a release date of December 15th, when it’ll hit PC.
The hand-drawn art of Melatonin and the music grabbed me when the game was initially revealed some months ago during one of the many indie directs. As a rhythm game fan, it also tickled my fancy.

A Nintendo Switch version of the game is also “coming soon,” but no definite release date has been given.
David of developer Half Asleep said the following about the game upon its release date news:
“You can learn a lot about someone from knowing what they dream about at night. Melatonin explores that concept and uses music to help convey the feelings of the main character to the player. There are clear influences from Rhythm Heaven on the gameplay, but I truly believe Melatonin has its own unique style and more than enough original ideas to separate itself from the games it was inspired by.”
