Another E3 is upon us which means it is time for the 3rd Annual E3 predictions. On episode 30 of Arcade Couch Dylan, Ashley and Ciaran provided their unique predictions for this year’s E3.

Listed below are their general E3 predictions, things that could happen anywhere and anytime at E3. Let us know who you think is on the money and who is way off in the comments below, or sound off on Twitter.

Ciaran’s Predictions

1. Sony is completely silent during E3 week

Ciaran: Sony won’t be making any announcements, they wont have a State of Play, they are just going to shut the F up the entire week.

Dylan: Sony will not have a State of Play or reveal anything? OK. Interesting.

2. THQ Nordic is going to reveal at least 15 unannounced games at E3

Ashley: Jesus. That’s crazy talk.

Dylan: That is crazy talk, but also, I’m like “yeah”.

Ashley: They bought enough IPs for that to be a possibility. I don’t think they’re going to show them all this year though.

Dylan: That’s only like a quarter of what they’ve said they’re making.

Ciaran: That’s not even that much. I think they’re going to go nuts

Dylan: They said a couple of weeks ago they have 80 games in production apparently.

3. Rockstar will appear with a Grand Theft Auto IV remaster

Dylan: Where’s your real prediction? That’s the funniest thing I’ve heard all day.

Ciaran: I’m sticking with it. GTA IV getting the remaster boys, lets go!

Dylan: “Come on Niko, we’re getting a remaster.”

Ciaran: Just imagine, the room goes black. A phone rings. You hear the phone answer and all of a sudden, out of nowhere, goes “Hey Cousin! Come bowling!”

Dylan: I think you’re wrong but that’s OK.

Dylan’s Predictions

1. AMD will announce that their upcoming Navi GPUs are going to have ray tracing tech inside

Ashley: Wow. You just put all out listeners to sleep

Ciaran: That is really easy. That is almost a guaranteed points

Dylan: I feel like this is an easy one because they’ve talked about this upcoming line, for people who don’t care about this stuff, but also you’ve got to remember the Playstation 5 is going to be using the Navi chips and they’ve said that the PS5 is going to have ray tracing technology. Everyone was assuming that it was some special hardware that Playstation is going to be adding to the GPU. I’m going to say no, the Navi line of AMD chips are going to have ray tracing built inside them

2. The Harry Potter game is revealed.

Ciaran: The MMO?

Dylan: The RPG one that got leaked. That game.

Ciaran: Where do you think it will be shown?

Dylan: That’s why it’s in the general category…

Ciaran: It’s such a weird year without Sony because normally there would be Playstation and Xbox to share everything

Dylan: I feel like it could just be shown on that Youtube livestream or the Coliseum thing. It could show up at Xbox but it feels weird for that to show up at Xbox.

3. Resident Evil 8 is revealed

Dylan: It could be called something else because Resident Evil 7 was Biohazard. They could call this one “Resident Evil: something with a subtitle”. This is the sequel to the last chronological Resident Evil game.

Ashley: Not a remake.

Ciaran: This will be called Resident Evil One.

Dylan: I wouldn’t put it past them but that game is reveal at some stage. Now you’re like “Dylan we just had the remake of 2”. Correct, that was a different team. They’ve been working on the sequel to 7 somewhere else. And Capcom, what do they have coming up for the 2020 period? Sweet fucking nothing. So that’s why I’m going with Resident Evil 8.

Ashley’s Predictions

1. Rocksteady’s game will be revealed

Ashley: The Rocksteady game we’ve been predicting for the last three years is going to be shown somewhere

Ciaran: Really, the same year as The Avengers they’re going to announce the Rocksteady game?

Dylan: DC vs Marvel, here we go!

2. Google Stadia be shown in some way at E3

Ashley: Google Stadia will be showcased in someway, either behind the scenes, behind closed doors or they’ll show off some of the smaller projects they’ve working on.

Ciaran: Is that a showcase if it’s behind doors and we don’t know it’s happening?

Ashley: They will show it to people.

Dylan: Who will then write the articles and we’ll know about it. Games journalism!

Ciaran: I feel like Ashley is trying to get some shoe in points here.

Ashley: They haven’t announced that they’re going to be at E3 so I don’t think it is.

Ciaran: I think it will be a shoe in.

3. A new Bioshock game is revealed

Ciaran: Really?

Ashley: 2K has been working on it.

Dylan: Really? Say the guy who just predicted a remake of GTA VI?

Ciaran: No, but they’re is going to show Borderlands 3 and a new Bioshock in the same year?

Ashley: Sure, why not?

Ciaran: Their markets are very similar… I’m kidding.
