Today it was announced that Werewolf The Apocalypse – Earthblood won’t hit its rough release date of “sometime 2020”, but instead release on February 4th, 2021.

To soften the blow for those who were anticipating the games release a brand new gameplay trailer was released. It’s very heavy metal, and you can watch it below.

<div class="sqs-video-wrapper" data-provider-name="YouTube" data-html="“>

In Earthblood you play as Cahal, a werewolf of the Fianna Tribe who chose to exile himself after losing control of himself in a fit of rage. However, when Cahal is searching for his daughter some years later he discovers his old pack his in danger and must come out of retirement to help them.

It’s a dangerous decision however, as Cahal still can’t contain his rage and it’ll be a big part of the gameplay itself – you mustn’t let the rage overturn you.

You’ll be able to switch between three forms in the game. Human form for interacting with objects and speaking; Wolf form for sneaking and fast exploration and Werewolf form for absolute carnage and shredding over enemies.

The game is coming on February 4th, 2021 to PC via Epic Games Store, Xbox One, PS4, Xbox Series X and PS5.

Let me know what you thought of the gameplay trailer in the comments section below.
